Retreat and Workshops
We offer a range of Retreats and Workshops, which we will advertise here and on our social media platforms as we have them available. In the mean time, please get in touch to let us know what you would find helpful as we try to be as responsive as possible. Also, have a look at our testimonials page for feedback from previous events.
The Retreats

Our retreats are designed with the whole person in mind. We know that the effects of trauma are wide reaching and impact many, if not all, areas of your life. At our Retreat, we invite you to spend 2 days with us and other group members, affording yourself time to focus on your own healing.
We have arranged for the Retreat to be in Sidmouth, where you have the sea, the river, and the "Byes" all within walking distance, allowing the peace and beauty of the environment to add to the learning we do together.
The Retreat is priced as attendance, materials and light refreshments included. This is done so that you can select accommodation from the vast array locally that suits your budget, and your personal preference. We are happy to provide recommendations and details. New for 2025 we have an accommodation included option for those who would rather we make arrangements locally.
We welcome bookings from individuals, or small groups. Each Retreat will be offered to 4 to 12 people, keeping this a small and safe environment.
The Retreat programme will be provided before arrival. Each Retreat is slightly different as we tailor sessions to the goals of those attending, and taking into account any previous workshops participants may have attended.
Sessions are organised to encourage a journey, and building towards rebuilding, restoring, and rewriting your life beyond the trauma, dissociation and the impacts.

Healing Workshops
Healing workshops are for everyone. They are offered both online and in person in East Devon. We believe that these workshops allow you to build self care and development into your schedule throughout the year. The material covered in workshops is different to that in the Retreat, as many people will choose to do a combination of both.
Some of our workshops include:
Understanding Trauma and the Brain - What does it mean for me? Learning about how the brain responds in times of trauma and why will assist in reducing shame, making sense of our instinctive responses and empower you to learn to soothe yourself and retrain your alarm system. This can also be helpful if you live or care for someone who experienced trauma.
Fragmented Self - Do you or someone you know have multiple parts, alters, selves? Here we look at why this may have happened, and what "integration" actually means. With first hand experience of living and working with parts this workshop provides a useful 360 degree view.
Dissociation and Me - Why do we dissociate anyway? We think about why this has been helpful, to what extent we can change this, and think about how we might do this.ext.

Who am I now? - Rewriting scripts after living with trauma or abuse. We look at how to accept the trauma as part of your story, but not the whole story. We work together to think about how we can take back control and get to know ourselves authentically now.
Connecting to the Inner Child - caring for and connecting to the first version of you can be life changing. We provide exercises that allow you to soothe them and hear from them.
Stepping Off the Drama Triangle - This is for everyone! How often have we been drawn into a persecutor, rescuer, victim role play with others? Here we look at how to recognise it, and step off the triangle.
