When I ‘discover’ a new voice (typically a good few months after they have been discovered by the masses!) I fall hook, line and sinker…as my bestest mates will attest; see the collective eye roll (I am *that* predictable) – enter stage right, Benson Boone (I’m swooning!)

Have you seen SIX? We ask because it has been playing at cinemas around the country recently so more people have had access than when it has been in London or on tour. Anyway, quick rundown in case you haven't (but you really should, it is good!) The musical is about Henry VIII's 6 wives. It's premise is they are comparing who had the worst experience with him as a husband. Although, they work out that is not the best way to approach the situation in the end.

Virginia Giuffre has taken her life aged 41.

You may or may not have heard about the #TheyKnew campaign being headed by Maggie Oliver. They are seeking to bring civil actions and/or private prosecutions against individuals and public bodies that were aware of children and young people who were being sexually abused or exploited, but did nothing. Obviously we support action for change and are pleased to see people being held to account.

So it happened! It feels like we have been planning and thinking about it for so long (we announced it on the 30th November 2024 FYI!), but last weekend the Inner Child Retreat 2025 took place, and all we can say is “Wow!”

Have you watched the “Stacey Dooley, Rape on Trial” 2-part documentary yet? I must admit to feeling apprehensive, knowing that the subject material was going to be hard hitting, and for me close to home. Also, hopeful that there was a light being shone on this important subject, and maybe, just maybe there would be some positive outcomes. Now if you haven’t watched it, this does contain spoilers!

It's a tough call to be back here again, but due to experiences recently, the obvious choice for a blog post was around medical care. But this time, we want to look at it a bit differently. Bear with!

I’m just back from seeing Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy (BJMATB) for the second time in 2 days…what can I say…I feel like I’ve grown up with her, and she deserves my time as the franchise leaves her to…LIVE! 

You may or may not have noticed that we are preparing for the upcoming inner child retreat – we nave mentioned it a few times! So we thought we would take a moment to talk about why we have picked this subject and why it matters.

We like everyone are in awe of Gisele Pelicot and the incredible way she has spoken out and been heard in relation to the horrific abuse she suffered at the hands of her husband and many other men.
