Simples!

What are you doing to connect with your inner child? That can sound like a BIG question or request, but sometimes it really is the small stuff. Anyone who follows us on social media knows, that we do lots of small things that help us feel that connection, nurture that little one within. And I mean small stuff – Smarties anyone? Blowing bubbles occasionally? Yep it really is about just acknowledging things they loved.

Between Therapy Sessions - Mind the Gap!

We got to thinking about the time between sessions, whether that be counselling sessions, therapy, mental health team appointments, or support sessions. For some this time can feel like a vacuum where support feels far away, while for others it can be a time where the work set up in the session can really take place.

'Cause I Gotta' Have Faith?

Yet another case of a religious leader abusing his power has finally got to court. This time a former Church of England priest, Christopher Brain, originally charged with one count of rape and 36 counts of indecent assault between 1981 and 1995 against 13 women: "he is a devious and arrogant sexual predator who caused these women significant harm through his abuse of power and cruel manipulation of their faith" it was reported.

Six - Reclaiming Ground!

Have you seen SIX? We ask because it has been playing at cinemas around the country recently so more people have had access than when it has been in London or on tour. Anyway, quick rundown in case you haven't (but you really should, it is good!) The musical is about Henry VIII's 6 wives. It's premise is they are comparing who had the worst experience with him as a husband. Although, they work out that is not the best way to approach the situation in the end.

Supporting #TheyKnew

You may or may not have heard about the #TheyKnew campaign being headed by Maggie Oliver. They are seeking to bring civil actions and/or private prosecutions against individuals and public bodies that were aware of children and young people who were being sexually abused or exploited, but did nothing. Obviously we support action for change and are pleased to see people being held to account.
